Months overdue, the budget as signed by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on July 28, 2009 cuts billions of dollars from local governments, education and health and human services, but does not eliminate whole programs, as initially proposed in the Governor's May budget proposal. This document summarizes the budget and highlights the four key areas that will affect the Southeast Asian community in California.
