Southeast Asian American Equity Agenda Outlines Key Community Priorities

WASHINGTON, DC – The Southeast Asia Resource Action Center (SEARAC) is proud to announce the release of the Southeast Asian American Equity Agenda, a roadmap created through a community-driven process and aimed at advancing Southeast Asian American (SEAA) equity and empowerment. Gathering the voices of more than 30 SEAA-led and -serving organizations across the country, this transformative agenda outlines key priorities and policy recommendations to create a more just and inclusive society for all, including our refugee and immigrant communities.

The SEAA Equity Agenda tackles critical issues that affect the lives of Southeast Asian Americans, including education, data equity, immigration, health, and aging. It reflects the collective wisdom and lived experiences of our community members and partners who work tirelessly day in and day out in pursuit of our collective vision for equity.
