Washington, DC – SEARAC is thrilled to launch a special report to mark the 25th anniversary of SEARAC’s Leadership and Advocacy (LAT) program.
Nearly 1,500 advocates from Southeast Asian American and ally communities have participated in our flagship training program since 1999. These community advocates continue to carry the reflections, lessons, and memories of LAT as leaders in their communities. Featuring the voices of 25 LAT participants from the past two decades, our alumni report is a testament to Southeast Asian American collective power.
SEARAC is grateful to LAT alumni for sharing their testimonies from the program and passing along the knowledge to future participants and Southeast Asian American advocates. It strengthens SEARAC’s work and empowers us to continue fighting for a better future.
This year’s 25th LAT will take place on July 22-25 in Washington, DC. Follow SEARAC socials @searac to stay updated on the program and to meet our newest cohort. You can support these and future rising leaders by making a gift to bolster SEARAC’s work.
