In these last days of 2025, I want to thank you for all the love and solidarity that you’ve shown Southeast Asian American (SEAA) refugee and immigrant communities during this challenging year.
SEARAC has been working tirelessly to protect the SEAA community’s right to heal, right to be seen, and right to family through our policy advocacy and leadership development work. We’ve also been supporting rapid response efforts to keep ICE out of our neighborhoods and to protect hard-fought wins – like including Southeast Asian history and experiences in K-12 classrooms in California – that the community has worked for over generations.
Alongside these immense challenges, we’ve also tapped into joy and resilience as we commemorated 50 years of Southeast Asian refugee resettlement with our new documentary film series and community events across the country.
